Your claim is based on your UK service and progressed entirely under UK law, so it works exactly the same wherever in the world you live.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before making your claim.

I don't live in the UK, Australia, Spain, the USA, Canada, Cyprus, Germany, Ireland, or Malta — can I still claim?

Yes. Your entitlement comes from your UK service, not from your current country of residence. Those 8 countries are simply where we run our most established local support — British veterans living anywhere else in the world can make a claim in exactly the same way.

We start every claim with a remote eligibility and case review call, wherever you are. From there, we’ll either arrange a local audiologist in your country or confirm the most convenient way to get your hearing assessed — you won’t be left waiting simply because you live somewhere less common for us.

Anyone who served in the UK Armed Forces and developed hearing loss or tinnitus because of military service may be eligible.

Generally, you have 3 years from diagnosis, or 6 years from leaving service if symptoms were already present. If you only recently linked your condition to your service, the clock may start from that point instead.

No. Compensation for hearing loss or tinnitus is completely separate from your military pension. Claiming will not reduce or affect your existing pension in any way.

Absolutely not. Our eligibility check is 100% free with no obligation. If you proceed with a claim, we work on a no win, no fee basis — you don’t pay anything upfront.

Compensation depends on the severity of your hearing loss and medical evidence. Our team can provide a free estimate.

You don’t need to find one yourself. We partner with specialist solicitors who handle military claims. We manage the entire process for you — you just provide the information.

Most claims are resolved within 6 to 18 months, depending on complexity. Straightforward hearing loss claims tend to be faster. We’ll give you a realistic timeline during your free case review.

You can still claim. Many of our clients served 20+ years ago. As long as you served after May 1987 and have hearing loss or tinnitus connected to your service, you may be eligible.
