Veterans Helping Veterans — That's Who We Are
We started this company because we saw too many veterans struggling with hearing loss and tinnitus without knowing they could claim compensation. Our team includes former service personnel who understand what you've been through.
We serve veterans from all branches — Army, Navy, RAF, Royal Marines and Reserves. No matter when you served, we're here to help.
Many of the veterans we help now call New Zealand home. From Auckland to Christchurch, distance from the UK has no bearing on your entitlement to claim; your service happened under UK law, and so does your claim.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before making your claim.
I served in the UK Armed Forces but I live in New Zealand now — can I still claim?
Yes. Your entitlement comes from your UK service, not from where you currently live. British veterans living in New Zealand can make a claim in exactly the same way as those still living in the UK.
Will I need to fly back to the UK for my hearing test?
No. We arrange for a visiting audiologist to carry out assessments in New Zealand during scheduled visit windows. If no visit is currently scheduled in your area, we’ll register your details and contact you as soon as a date is confirmed.
Who can make a hearing loss claim?
Anyone who served in the UK Armed Forces and developed hearing loss or tinnitus because of military service may be eligible.
Is there a time limit to make a claim?
Generally, you have 3 years from the date you realised your condition was linked to your service — for many veterans that’s recent. Military hearing loss and tinnitus claims must be registered with the MoD by 31 January 2027, so it’s worth checking now.
Will claiming affect my military pension?
No. Compensation for hearing loss or tinnitus is completely separate from your military pension. Claiming will not reduce or affect your existing pension in any way.
Does it cost anything to check my eligibility?
Absolutely not. Our eligibility check is 100% free with no obligation. If you proceed with a claim, we work on a no win, no fee basis — you don’t pay anything upfront.
How much compensation could I receive?
Compensation depends on the severity of your hearing loss and medical evidence. Our team can provide a free estimate.
Do I need a solicitor to make a claim?
You don’t need to find one yourself. We partner with specialist solicitors who handle military claims. We manage the entire process for you — you just provide the information.
How long does a claim take?
Most claims are resolved within 6 to 18 months, depending on complexity. Straightforward hearing loss claims tend to be faster. We’ll give you a realistic timeline during your free case review.
What if I left the military many years ago?
You can still claim. Many of our clients served 20+ years ago. As long as you served after May 1987 and have hearing loss or tinnitus connected to your service, you may be eligible.
